Our mission is to unite the Church in order to meet our communities greatest needs.
Our Guiding Principles
01
Protect Unity
Jesus prayed, “that they all may be one…”
We believe the unity of the body is our greatest mission and that through that unity we will see many needs met. We protect unity by never engaging in theological debates or trying to engage clients to come to a specific church at any One Church event. We stick to the basics…Love God, Love People.
02
Preserve Dignity
We believe everyone deserves a seat at the table and has something to bring to it. People will be better, more productive and more successful when they realize their own God given worth and potential. Therefore, we strive to present all support with the highest level of dignity and excellence.
03
Practice True Charity
We believe that Charity should not create dependence. We never want to simply provide quick fixes, but instead, work to help individuals reach their full potential, becoming stable and self sufficient.
We are members of True Charity Initiative, and as such we strive to adhere to those same guiding principles.
True Charity is Authentic
True charity stems from compassion and cannot be legislated. Government is an institution and cannot be charitable in truth. True charity is voluntarily sourced.
True Charity is Accurate
If charity doesn’t empower the poor, it misses the mark. Empowerment is impossible without some aspect of challenge to help a person become self-sufficient.
True Charity is Actualized
Real charity is “made actual” – it makes a real difference. Some good or service is rendered to the poor, and outcomes are measured to ensure that efforts are actually making a difference in the individual and community.
