Central Hub
A place where many churches and organizations are represented.
- When someone has a need they call One Church and schedule a needs assessment.
- Every individual will be assigned a pathway partner. These will be caring, well trained volunteers from our partner churches, who will take the time to get to know them and develop a plan of action, not just to meet the immediate need but to guide them step by step on a pathway to long term solutions.
- Some counseling, outpatient addiction recovery and other basic needs will be handled in house.
Connect
We make referrals to already existing resources that are the best fit for their needs.
- Whether it’s getting them into a rehabilitation program, family counseling, financial budgeting classes, furthering education or whatever the need may be, we can quickly and easily connect clients to the right resources through well established relationships within our network of churches and organizations.
- Pathway Partners will walk step by step through the entire process alongside each individual and follow up with after care.
Empowerment
We recognize freedom from poverty and other difficult circumstances is not a one way street.
- As members of True Charity, we believe everyone has intrinsic value and something to bring to the table. We aim to avoid toxic charity which promotes dependence, but instead to empower people to live in their full, God given, potential.
- We believe, as True Charity states, that “If charity doesn’t empower the poor, it misses the mark. Empowerment is impossible without some aspect of challenge to help a person become self-sufficient.”
- We require that anyone receiving assistance walk through the plan as laid out by their pathway partner.
